The largest Temple in the South Pacific is located in the southern end of Nadi Town in Fiji. The temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan, the god of seasonal rains. A beautiful statue of the god stands in the centre of the temple. Other small temples honour lord Ganesh, the Hindu god with the head of an elephant, and Shiva, the supreme god. Guests will admire the beautiful craftsmanship. Dress code applies for both visiting females and males. Shoes are to be removed at entrance. Photographs of the outer temple and surroundings are permitted however taking pictures or videos of the interior are strictly prohibited. The temple also offers a stunning sunset view over the Denarau islands in the evening. Also located at the temple is a vegetarian restaurant. Guests can enjoy freshly prepared vegetarian meals and drinks here.
